weR2 is delighted to present designs for HIM and HER. Silky and bold, weR2 and Donald Sultan collaborated on this matching silk scarf and pocket square. Interpreted from ’28 Flowers,’ one of many of Donald Sultan’s beautiful and iconic pop based and brightly colored works, we have transposed the original black back to white charging the image with an altogether new sign of spring. Sultan, internationally recognized as a painter, printmaker, and sculptor is best known for distinctively textured surfaces that equally balance the contrast of positive and negative space. The graphic elegance of his imagery lends itself so beautiful to wearables.
